You can party safely at the WECANDANCE festival

Counts showed that 70 percent of visitors to WECANDANCE are women. This year the festival is therefore strongly committed to inclusiveness and safety of the festival goers. People can send messages to a contact person if they feel unsafe, but also go to a safespace. This is a quiet space where festival-goers can go to talk to someone after an incident.

Food is also considered inclusive. Done with greasy burgers and dripping bratwursts, because they are making way for vegan, veggie and halal. Today about 12,000 people are expected and yesterday the counter printed at 13,000 visitors and that for a very warm edition.
