Yoohoo! This active guy is looking for an experienced boss

Looking for a pet to do fun things with? Then Ares might be a good choice. Every week, in collaboration with Dierentehuis Zoetermeer, we look for a suitable home for shelter cats and dogs.

Ares is a sociable and active dog, but he does need good adjustment. That is why the animal home is looking for a new home with older children or no children.

It seems that this crossbreed has something of a boxer in it. The exact age of Ares is also not entirely clear, but it is suspected that he is around eight years old. He was previously brought to the animal home as a foundling. Now a suitable address is being sought for him again.

Ares won’t let himself be told everything

He was almost never alone with his previous owner. If you do want to leave Ares alone at home from time to time, he will first have to get used to it. He doesn’t let it eat cheese off his bread and Ares doesn’t listen to everyone either. He likes to play with sticks and balls. An experienced and also active owner is therefore desirable.

Good to know: Ares cannot live in a home with cats. How he reacts to other dogs in the house is not (yet) clear.
