A special moment was experienced at the New Year’s party in Helsinki’s Kansalaistor on Sunday evening, when a protester carrying a Palestinian flag rushed onto the stage during Käärijä’s performance. In this situation, Yle’s reporter-presenter, who hosted the concert, was at the venue Emma Karasjokiwho pushed the protester Wrapper from the front on stage.

– I managed to see in hundredths of a second that someone unknown was running towards us aggressively. I was very scared and scared. I didn’t see what he was up to. I just saw that it was someone who shouldn’t be on stage, Emma Karasjoki describes.

– I noticed that someone jumped on the stage and a couple of seconds later he was escorted away. There was so much hassle at that moment that I didn’t even realize at first that he was an outsider, Gogi describes the situation to Iltalehte.
