Ylen’s Elävä archive’s Instagram commemorated today the broadcast of the Half Seven program on February 7, in which Mikko Leppilampi made an unsuccessful volte in 2013.
Marja Hintikan and Mikko Kekäläinen in the accompanying clip, Leppilampe is asked to throw a backflip while standing from a colorful seat. However, the performance fails dramatically and Leppilampi falls to the ground on his neck.

– It didn’t happen. It’s just acting, Kekäläinen says.
Now celebrating its tenth anniversary, the video has been brought up again. On the account of the living archive, it is told how “some people were torn from their joints” after Leppilammi descended “on their necks”.
In the comment section, people laugh at the video, but there are also a few more worried comments.
– I don’t think there was anything funny about that. Second, I could have been paralyzed by that, one commenter is horrified.
After its television presentation, the video has circulated on the internet and, for example, on YouTube, the video has hundreds of thousands of views.
