Mightily according to the background company of the Helsinki Jokers, Team Jokerit oy, has submitted an application for a series place in Mestis.
The matter has been confirmed to Yelle by the frontman of Team Jokerit oy Jarmo Koskinen.
The Ice Hockey Association will consider Joker’s application at its meeting on February 28. If the application is accepted, the Helsinki club can apply for a Mestis license.
Team Jokerit oy submitted an application for a series place in January, but requested that it not be processed. The reason was that the federal government demanded additional clarification requests from the club.
