Aegean teams will play tough matches in the 3rd Round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup on Wednesday, November 1. Menemen Football Club, competing in the TFF 2nd League Red Group, will play its first match under the management of its new coach Yılmaz Vural. The yellow-dark blue team will host Nevşehir Belediyespor in the cup at Tire Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Stadium at 14.00 as the District Stadium is under maintenance. Somaspor, which is in the same group, will face Talasgücü Belediyespor at home and Fethiyespor will face Tokat Belediyesi Plevne at home in the cup.
Ayvalıkgücü Belediyespor, one of the 3rd League teams, will be the guest of Kastamonuspor, Kuşadasıspor Düzcespor and Bornova 1877 Karacabey Belediyespor. The starting whistle for all matches will blow at 14.00. The winning team in the matches to be played according to the single elimination method will advance to the round. If the matches end in a draw, there will be two 15-minute overtime periods. If there is a tie, the winner will be determined by a series of penalty shoot-outs.
