The fireworks ban in many cities and municipalities was far from being adhered to. In Brussels, a teenager suffered an eye injury and a 7-year-old child was injured in the hand, as was a municipal guard. One man even lost his hand. In Antwerp, fireworks were shot at a MUG team and against houses. Isn’t it urgent time for a total ban, as Minister Ben Weyts (N-VA) wants?
