Lucinda also worked on this book before she passed away. The book is originally called The Murders at Fleat House and is very different from the Seven Sistersseries. It is an exciting detective thriller full of intrigue. Yet you will recognize the author in it. It is all about family ties, love and friendship.
The story
The main character in the book is Detective Jazz. She investigates the murder of a fifteen-year-old boy. The student is found dead at a small, exclusive boarding school in Norfolk. According to the headmaster, his death was an accident, but Jazz is not sure. She tries to penetrate the closed world of the boarding school. It soon becomes apparent that more is going on and there are more victims. The secrets of the boarding school turn out to be darker than she could ever have imagined.
