He Federal Court No. 3 of San Martin I set the date of Thursday, March 21, 2024 for the start of the oral trial against the controversial Uruguayan youtuber Yao Cabrera. In the case, the complainants presented evidence of scams, sexual abuse, facilitation of prostitution to minors and sale of drugs at their parties.
The case against Cabrera began in October 2020 due to the complaint of the media manager, Jorge Zonzini, in the Federal Court of Campana, in charge of the Judge Adrián González Charvay, for multiple sexual crimes against children and adolescents. Subsequently, criminal complaints were filed against former employees of the organization. “Viral/WifiTeam”, Giovanna De Mitole (Graphic Designer), Mariano Fernández (Influencer) and Joaquín Apesteguia (Editor) who worked for the controversial streamer.
