Y/Project cancels fashion show in Paris

Y/Project decided at the last minute to cancel their show for this season.

The reason for this is “uncertain times,” explains the Parisian label, which is now an integral part of Paris Fashion Week, to the trade magazine WWD. Small and medium-sized brands in particular are feeling the effects of the difficult situation and falling spending in the luxury market.

Instead, the brand wants to focus on securing internal investments and reallocating resources to drive growth. The current FW24 collection is therefore only presented in the form of a lookbook. This is part of a strategic shift at the brand, which originally had plans to expand its presence and accessories business, is rethinking the distribution of resources.
