XXL Easter egg by Ike Hoogenberg from Hoogersmilde can be admired at the Brink in Assen

The colorful XXL egg from Ike. CKC de Vaart

Ike Hoogenberg has designed an XXL Easter egg. That large egg is part of the pop-up Easter exhibition on the Brink in front of the Drents Museum in Assen. In the coming week many colorful XXL eggs can be admired there.

This painted egg has been designed at CKC De Vaart in Hoogersmilde in recent weeks. The children from groups 6, 7 and 8 were all allowed to make a design for the egg. The children then voted for their favorite design and the most beautiful sketch was selected. Ike Hoogenberg’s sketch received the most votes and he was allowed to translate his design from an A-4 to the 3D XXL egg.

Ike first outlined his sketch on the egg and then applied his colorful design to the egg with the help of a group of children.
