Xiaomi has officially launched the My Band 7 in China and promises to assault the entry range of wearables. It maintains the same design as the Mi Band 6, but the screen goes from 1.52 to 1.62 inches with 326ppi and 25% more viewing area. The AMOLED screen is knockdown and will allow the ‘always-on’ function.
To mark this update, Xiaomi has designed over 100 new watch faces to adorn this larger AMOLED display on the Mi Band 7. Blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking now includes the ability to vibrate and notify if levels drop below 90%. The monitoring of blood oxygen and heart rate has been perfected.
There are up to 120 sports available to monitor with this new smartband.
The battery life lasts up to 14 days with a single charge giving it normal use and uses its own magnetic charger that has been used since the beginning of the range. The price in China is 239 yuan, a little more than 30 eurosbut so far it has not been exported.
