Wu-Tang Clan & Nas in Berlin: tickets, schedule, how to get there and weather

The figureheads of American East Coast hip-hop from the Wu-Tang Clan are currently on the big “NY State of Mind” tour with their New York rap colleague Nas. As part of the tour, they will play an exclusive concert in Berlin on Monday, June 5th, 2023. It will take place on the Parkbühne der Wuhlheide. Here’s an overview of all the information about the gig.

Tickets for the performance can be purchased via the portal “Ticketmaster” be bought. There are three categories: the normal tickets, GA Early Entry and the Premium Seated Package. The standard tickets are divided into standing and seated tickets, with the former costing €95 and the latter €85. The early entry tickets and the premium seated packages are sold out.

Time schedule

Admission to the Wuhlheide park stage is from 6 p.m. On the location’s website, early arrival is requested “to ensure smooth entry”. The concert then begins at 8 p.m. More details about the process are not known, there are no support acts. The concert is expected to end around 10 p.m.

Arrival and parking

Visitors arriving by car should note that there are only a few parking spaces in the Wuhlheide area. These are located along and on both sides of the street “An der Wuhlheide”. It should also be noted that there are some stopping and no-parking areas in the concert area, which the official website says are regularly inspected. Arriving by public transport should therefore be much easier. The easiest way to do this is to take the S3 in the direction of Erker and get off at Wuhlheide station. From there it is about 900 meters on foot or eight minutes through the park to the stage. Access to the Wuhlheide S-Bahn station is currently only possible via the main entrance. You can travel by tram with lines 27, 60, 61 and 67 to the “Freizeit- und Freizeitzentrum” stop. The way is signposted.

The weather

The weather in Berlin is forecast to be summery on June 5th. At 8 p.m. it should still be over 20 degrees Celsius, only from around 11 p.m. does the thermometer drop below 20 degrees. As the concert takes place in the open air, it is advisable to wear light clothing, don’t forget the sunscreen and drink enough water. By the way: You are allowed to take non-alcoholic drinks up to a maximum size of 0.5 liters per person in Tetra-Pak or PET.
