Tickets, arrival, schedule, setlists and the weather

Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe have been on a big world tour together since February 2023. On Saturday, June 3rd, both bands will come to Hanover for a concert at the EXPO Plaza.

tickets

The promoter offered a variety of different premium and VIP ticket packages for the concert. However, since these are completely sold out, visitors who do not yet have a ticket must be satisfied with a standard ticket. This is available in two variants: Regular standing room (€99) and Front of Stage (€150) and can be purchased on “Ticketmaster” or “Eventim”.

Arrival and parking

The organizer asks on its website to travel to the concert by public transport if possible. The admission ticket to the concert is therefore valid as a ticket for the Großraum-Verkehr Hannover (GVH) from three hours before the start of the event until 5 a.m. the following day. The EXPO Plaza can be reached from the main train station with several tram lines.

The organizer recommends the free and ad-free navigation app “NUNAV” to those visitors who rely on the car, which, according to the website, will lead you “directly to a free parking space avoiding traffic jams”. It is also pointed out that the lanes are currently narrowing on the Messeschnellweg, which is why the “Messe Süd” exit should be used.

Time schedule

Admission to the concert is from 4 p.m. We ask that you arrive to the concert in good time so that all security measures can be carried out properly. The concert will be opened at 6 p.m. by a DJ, at 7.30 p.m. Mötley Crüe will take the stage. Their set is supposed to last until around 9 p.m., after which Def Leppard will play until 11 p.m.

The weather

The weather in Hanover is forecast to be sunny on Saturday, June 3rd. At the time of the concert it is said to be around 20 degrees Celsius, with no clouds to be expected. From 9 p.m. the temperature should drop slowly, at 11 p.m. it should only have 14 degrees Celsius. A jacket can therefore probably not be dispensed with.
