Hardly anyone shaped the wrestling as much as Hulk Hogan. Now the American has died. He was 71 years old.
The legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan is dead. Several US media report. Accordingly, emergency services were called to the 71-year-old house in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday morning. He has suffered cardiac arrest, it is said.
First the US portal “TMZ” had reported Hogan’s death, later the renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer confirmed the message.
Most recently, there had been contradictory reports about Hogan’s health. His long -time companion Jimmy Hart had only written on Tuesday at X: “Hulk is doing great, he is fine. Last night at the Karaoke with Nick (Hogan’s son, editor’s note) was absolutely fantastic, baby.” Before that, radio presenter “Bubba the Love Sponge”, a former friend of Hogan, quoted sources who had told him that Hogan was not doing well after a neck operation, he could not speak, it could look “seriously”.
