There may have been a shooting incident in the center of Assen tonight. A man was found injured on the street and has since been taken to hospital. Nothing further is known about his condition.
The report of the shooting was made at 11:20 p.m. at Menning, close to Rolderstraat. Several police cars arrived afterwards, as did an ambulance. A part of the city center is closed because an investigation is being carried out.
What exactly happened is still unknown. No one has been arrested yet.
