Antti Tuisku wrote about graduating from Ounasvaara high school in Rovaniemi in 2004. In 2018, the artist congratulated the graduates and at the same time recalled his own studies. Tuisku says that many people wondered at the time why he stressed about his writings and did not postpone them for later.

– However, it was really important to me not to leave things unfinished, but let’s get it out of the way now – grades don’t matter so much now. I haven’t needed my high school papers at all (read “not at all”) in my life, at least not yet, and that’s why I want to say the last thing among the best wishes to everyone, that even in the most difficult moments, you should believe that life leads you in the right direction and that titles are not important, but your own happiness and that, that you do things you like, Tuisku encouraged.
