The 26-year-old Rojas is the reigning Olympic and world champion in the open air. Her title in Belgrade was the third indoor world title in a row after success in Portland 2016 and Birmingham 2018. Indoor was 15.43 meters, jumped more than two years ago in Madrid, her best achievement. The World Athletics association no longer distinguishes between indoor and outdoor triple jump.
The silver in Belgrade went to Ukraine’s Marina Bech-Romanchuk with 14.74. Jamaican Kimberly Williams was good for bronze with 14.62.
