Afraid Alvarez

Also at the Szechy pool, around 16.30, there were moments of fear for the American Anita Alvarez, who fell ill, passed out and was underwater for several seconds, without anyone intervening. She was then the US coach who dived, rescued her and carried her to the poolside. Only then did the medical and paramedical staff intervene. Transported to the infirmary and examined, the Alvarez was judged out of danger. Shortly after she returned to the group, greeted by the embrace of her staff and the applause of all the athletes present in the training pool.
