The Norwegian team experienced a shocking situation at the World Ski Championships when the media manager of the combined team Steinar Bjerkmann fell to the ground on Thursday. Reported about it Dagbladet.

Bjerkmann was going to the bathroom at the Norwegians’ hotel when his legs gave out from under him. He was taken to the hospital.

The race trip ended right at the beginning, when Bjerkmann flew from Slovenia back to Norway. There he went for further studies.

At the Oslo hospital on Monday, however, the media manager fell short again.

– I was completely blown away. I do not know what happened. Suddenly I couldn’t move my limbs, Bjerkmann recalled the scary situation to Dagbladet.

– My left eye was shockingly painful. It felt like someone had hit it with a tennis ball.

Bjerkmann’s situation is worrying, but he still manages to joke about what happened.

– It feels like I’ve been boxing Mike Tyson’s with and lost every set. I’m in a fog, he said.

The media manager has now been transferred to another hospital in Oslo, where he is undergoing magnetic resonance imaging of the head.
