World leaders radiated unity, but Ukraine mainly gets moral support

It was a special week in Brussels. One big peak followed another for the past two days. First NATO met, then the G7 (seven rich industrialized countries) and finally the European Council. The world leaders present have succeeded in their goal: to radiate unity. Major new steps to halt Russian aggression in Ukraine failed to materialize, as expected. It will be more complicated for the EU to impose tougher sanctions on the Kremlin.
