World famous writer Salman Rushdie is attacked here
British-Indian writer Salman Rushdie was stabbed Friday before a lecture in New York state (US). Rushdie became world famous for the novel The Devil’s Verses. For this book, the Iranian leader Imam Khomeini issued a death fatwa in 1989 against Rushdie for insulting the prophet Mohammed.
