Finally, the most coveted event by Ducatisti and beyond is back, namely Wolrd Ducati Week. Wdw 2022 (22-24 July) promises to be a memorable three-day edition made up of motorbikes, riders, shows and lots of fun in the setting of the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. The presentation of the Wdw took place in the Ducati World thematic area of Mirabilandia, where the Ducati family took the stage: Francesco Bagnaia, Michele Pirro, Enea Bastianini, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi, Alvaro Bautista, Michael Rinaldi , Nicolò Bulega and Oli Bayliss with their father Troy.

The Wdw is the moment in which the passion of and for Ducati emerges most, a visibly happy Claudio Domenicali said, “it represents our desire to leave a memory to all Ducati fans. Ducati builds motorcycles but also events, and certainly this is the ‘event of greatest impact. In the last edition there were almost 90,000 visitors in the three days, and we are sure that this year too things will go well “.

The program will be spread over three days: Friday 22 July, Saturday 23 and the final day Sunday 24, three days full of competitions, parties and moments related to the product. Like the secret room where a new Ducati model will be unveiled, which will only really see the light in autumn. But above all there are two events to make the heart beat faster, the Race of Champions, which will see 21 Ducati riders challenge each other, riding 15 Panigale V4s and six Panigale V2 bikes, the bikes will be in racing configuration, customized by an exclusive livery inspired by the graphics of the bike used by each rider during the championships. All the bikes will be equipped with the best Ducati Performance accessories for the track, such as Akrapovič titanium exhausts, Pirelli slick tires and Rizoma brake lever protectors. It will be a real competition: a double category competition with two winners. The Panigale V4 will be lined up in front of the Panigale V2 and the drivers will compete in 12 laps of the track with free practice, qualifying and warm up and race. The race promises to be a real challenge, as stated by Luca Marini at the conference “Everyone wants to win there will be a good battle here” and Pirro added, addressing Domenicali “it will take an extra budget for the fairings given the conditions”.

Another event not to be missed, the Ducatisti Parade, which will start from inside the Misano circuit and after a lap of honor on the track, go through Cattolica, Misano and Riccione to finish at Samsara, with party and music mixed by famous DJs up to deep night.
