Germany’s beach handball players are in the final of the World Cup.
The DHB selection prevailed 2-0 (18:10, 25:16) in the semifinals against the Netherlands in Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete on Saturday (June 25th, 2022).
In the final on Sunday, the European champions will meet Spain, who are third in the European Championship, with the goalkeeper Katharina Filter, who is once again strong.
So far with a clean slate
In the morning, the DHB selection had also won 2-0 in the quarter-finals against Portugal and thus won all eight games played so far. In beach handball, the halves are scored separately. One point is awarded for each winner. A draw then leads to a shootout.
