World Cup in Le Grand Bornand: Two newcomers to the German biathlon team

The German biathletes are going into the World Cup weekend in Le Grand Bornand, France, with two changes.

Juliane Frühwirt and Philipp Nawrath are leaving the squad for the time being, with Janina Hettich-Walzt and Philipp Horn taking their place.

Both Frühwirt and Nawrath are scheduled to start in the lower-class IBU Cup for the time being. “Juliane hasn’t been able to show what she’s really capable of in the last few weeks after a good development in the summer.”said sports director Felix Bitterling, Philipp Nawrath is also looking “still in shape at the moment”.

Denise Herrmann-Wick missed the podium with the relay, the French won at the end in Hochfilzen.
