Double victory for the German skeleton women at the World Cup in Altenberg: Tina Hermann prevailed on Friday (February 16, 2024) with a narrow lead over Susanne Kreher.
At the end of an exciting competition with 25 pilots, Hermann and Kreher were separated by exactly a tenth of a second. The American Mystique Ro (+0.24 seconds) took third place, just ahead of the Canadian Mirela Rahneva (+0.25).
Pfeifer and Neise in the top ten
The German class result was rounded off by the second skeletoni in the top ten: Jaqueline Pfeifer steered her sled to sixth place (+0.37), Hannah Neise came eighth (+0.54).
With her victory, Hermann consolidated third place in the overall World Cup standings behind Kimberley Bos (Netherlands) and the Belgian Kim Meylemans, who is only 16 points ahead of Hermann.
