The semi-finals will take place on Thursday and the finals will be played on the following Tuesday. However, this is not entirely possible.
Playoff A: FIFA gives Ukraine time
Semifinals:
Scotland – Ukraine (postponed to June)
Wales – Austria (24.03.2022, 20.45 in Cardiff)
Final:
Wales/Austria – Scotland/Ukraine (postponed to June)
Wales and Austria meet in Playoff Path A. The winner of this match is supposed to play against the winner of the match between Scotland and Ukraine. However, in the face of the Russian invasion, FIFA granted Ukraine’s request to postpone the match. The aim now is to play the game in the international window in June, where the final would also have to be made up for. A procedure for what happens if the games cannot be played again has not yet been determined.
