With sand under their feet and a cool drink in their hands, the new foxes team introduced themselves to the partners and sponsors at the traditional team presentation on the Badeschiff Arena Berlin on Thursday.

One professional particularly enjoyed the evening in front of 200 guests on the Spree: Nils Lichtlein (20). The U21 world champion and MVP of the tournament (most valuable player) got a new contract from managing director Bob Hanning (55) and signed with the foxes until 2026.

Lichtlein, who came to the foxes at the age of 14, is happy: “Thanks to the club and those responsible for the trust, which I would like to repay in the best possible way.”

Hanning: “Nils plays a key role in our planning and is just at the beginning of his career. My wish is that he becomes the face of Füchse Berlin for many years to come.”
