Tyson Fury wants to end his eventful career in the boxing ring. The British heavyweight world champion also announced his plans for the future.
Boxing world champion Tyson Fury wants to end his career after the world heavyweight fight against compatriot Dillian Whyte on April 23.
“This will be the last fight of my career,” Fury said during a press conference, adding: “$150 million in the bank, young, healthy. I’m going to buy a huge yacht abroad.”
Fury had his last world title fight in October after eleven rounds with a knockout victory over American Deontay Wilder. Whyte is the official challenger to Fury, who is unbeaten in his 32 professional fights. There will be no unification fight with WBA, IBF and WBO title holder Oleksandr Ussyk, negotiations about such a spectacle had previously failed.
