The tunnel must ensure a safe crossing under the ring for the many cyclists who are on the road to school or work every day. In addition to the bicycle tunnel, a part of the road is also being renewed and there will be a buffer basin to absorb rainwater.
The works cost a total of around five million euros and would be completed by the end of next year.
