Originally, the works were to be carried out in phases, but consecutively. After consultation with local entrepreneurs, some concerns emerged and the planning was adjusted.
The works are now divided into two parts. “We don’t plan any works from May to October, so we don’t miss a single moment of the terrace season,” says Wim Janssens, alderman for Public Works.
