Work finished, A10 South open again | NOW

The work on the A10 South towards Utrecht has been fully completed and the section of the ring road is open again for road users. According to Rijkswaterstaat, everything went according to plan.

The work will take place at a location where normally about 9,000 cars drive per hour. Due to the holiday period, the work did not cause major traffic problems.

The work is part of the multi-billion-dollar Zuidasdok project. In the eleven days that were allotted for the work, the foundation had to be laid at Zuid station for a second passenger hall, the Brittenpassage. In addition, the closed section of highway was widened during the work.
