A large fire destroyed a wooden house on Koning Gustaf Adolfstraat in Lage Zwaluwe on Friday evening. No one was injured, but two cats are missing.
The first report of the fire came in shortly before 7 a.m. Corps from Made, Terheijden, Lage Zwaluwe and Dordrecht were called up to fight the sea of flames. An hour after the first report, flames were still shooting out of the roof of the house.
Cats missing
Two cats are missing after the fire. It is unknown whether they were still in the house when the fire broke out, or whether they fled the fire.
