A large fire destroyed a wooden house on Koning Gustaf Adolfstraat in Lage Zwaluwe on Friday evening. No one was injured, but two cats were missing for a short time. The animals were later found again.
The first report of the fire came in shortly before 7 a.m. Corps from Made, Terheijden, Lage Zwaluwe and Dordrecht were called up to fight the sea of flames.
An hour after the first report, flames were still shooting out of the roof of the house.
