Vlhová chases Dürr – short time gaps to sixth place
The closest came the German slalom Olympic champion Petra Vlhová, the dominator of the winter in this discipline. The Slovakian, who won the giant slalom at the same place on Friday and who is once again putting pressure on Mikaela Shiffrin in the fight for the overall World Cup victory, is 0.08 seconds behind.
Shiffrin (USA) is fourth behind Anna Swenn Larsson of Sweden (+0.11 seconds) and, just 0.25 seconds behind Dürr, still has every chance of making it onto the podium or even celebrating her 48th World Cup slalom victory .
In view of the narrow time gaps, six athletes will certainly still have the opportunity. Katharina Liensberger (Austria) and Michelle Gisin (Switzerland) are also close and can move up a lot with a top run in the second round.
