After positive corona findings, co-favorite Sweden has to do without Bayern defender Hanna Glas and Emma Kullberg in the quarter-finals of the European Championship.
As the Swedish football association SvFF reported on Wednesday, PCR tests have confirmed positive rapid test results. A member of the supervisory staff is also affected.
But that’s not all: left-back Jonna Andersson, midfielder Hanna Bennison and goalkeeper Jennifer Falk were also absent from training on Wednesday. All three showed corona symptoms.
All those affected have been isolated from the rest of the team. The Swedes meet outsiders Belgium in the first knockout round on Friday (9:00 p.m.).
