Women must wear burkini or other covering clothing on public beaches in Syria

Women are now asked to wear a burkini or other covering clothing on the public beaches in Syria. This is apparent from a decision by the Syrian Ministry of Tourism. Luxurious private etblissements are not covered by the new rules. The ministry justifies the measure by referring to the “public interest”.
