Tina Nijkamp has been studying the figures for a while, but now she is almost certain: according to her, women are bad for the viewing figures of Today Inside. “It’s really remarkable.”
It seems as if they at Today Inside no longer have any interest in women who are not called Hélène Hendriks. Yesterday Miljuschka Witzenhausen was on the show and that is the first non-Hélène woman in a very long time. Coincidentally, ratings prophet Tina Nijkamp posted one there last week story over to her analysis channel.
Few women
Tina was looking through the recent guest list and was shocked. “This TV season is raining millions of viewers for VI. The men are experiencing a viewing figures record TV season. Remarkable: never before have so few women, besides Hélène Hendriks every Friday, been table guests at VI.”
Miljuschka was there yesterday and before that she was also the last non-Hélène woman, namely on September 6. “Angela de Jong was our guest on August 31. And that’s it until now. I am not sure whether there is a link between few women at the table and higher viewing figures, but it is striking.”
Lower ratings
Tina’s suspicion is increasingly confirmed, because yesterday’s show with Miljuschka did poorly. “I have noticed it before and it is not desirable or fun at all, but it seems as if men score better at VI as table guests than women. This broadcast reached 813 thousand viewers.”
This includes a market share of 14.6 percent in the commercial target group, Tina continues. “Since the new viewing figures measurement, only the broadcasts of September 7 and 8 scored lower. Of course there was football, but that has happened much more often in recent months. Hopefully it is a nonsense conclusion, but it is remarkable.”
