The man who was arrested on Sunday afternoon for stabbing a woman in a house on the Enschotsestraat in Tilburg is the neighbor of the victim. The police report this on Monday morning. The woman fled the stairs after the stabbing and was taken care of by another local resident. She sustained several stab wounds.
Someone called on Sunday morning around half past eleven from Eindhoven to the police that his girlfriend, who lives in the Enschotsestraat in Tilburg, had stabbed. Almost immediately afterwards, the police receive a report from the street that someone has been stabbed.

In an apartment of a local resident, the emergency services find the seriously injured woman. She was able to say to the hospital shortly before she was brought that she was stabbed by the neighbor. Then ambulance staff take care of her and she is taken to the hospital in the ambulance.
The neighbor, who also lives in the flat, was arrested shortly after the stabbing. He was taken to the police station and is suspected of attempted murder or manslaughter.
