After the brutal knife attack on Schierker Strasse (Neukölln), the attacker is still on the run. He is said to have stabbed the woman twelve times. She survived badly injured.
At around 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, the hooded perpetrator ambushed his victim in front of the front door on Schierker Strasse. The Tunisian national is said to have just moved into a women’s shared flat there.
The hooded man is said to have stabbed the 26-year-old several times in the stomach and even twice in the face. Left-wing politician Ferat Kocak (44) has his MP’s office in the building. He wrote about twelve stab wounds on his Instagram account on Saturday.
A neighbor heard the cries for help and alerted the police. She didn’t dare to go outside herself.
The perpetrator fled undetected. Although several witnesses are said to have contacted the police, a description of the perpetrator is said to have been difficult due to the masking.
The condition of the seriously injured woman is said to have stabilized in the meantime. “If her state of health allows it, she will be questioned,” says a police spokeswoman.
Ferat Kocak on the BZ: “We have to rate the act as attempted femicide. It must not be used for people to let their racism run free.” Femicide is the killing of women and girls because of their gender.
