Shortly after midnight on Sunday night, according to initial findings, a woman was injured by at least one knife stab in an apartment on Finnländische Straße in Prenzlauer Berg.
The house is said to have been under surveillance. That’s why the police were apparently able to intervene immediately, arrest a suspect and provide first aid to the injured woman.
An emergency doctor and paramedics took over further care and transported the seriously injured person to a hospital.
It is not known why the house was under surveillance.
