The woman – it would be a Norwegian – rented a boat on Tuesday from Alkmaarse Bootjesverhuur on the Alkmaarse Singelgracht.
“The boat was found last night, without the lady on it,” said police spokesman Derk Burger. It is still unclear what happened. The police do not want to make any statements about the exact location or other details. “We are currently looking for the woman,” the police spokesman said.
