Serious accident on Friday afternoon on the A10!
According to BZ information, two mothers were with their children in a car on their way to a swimming pool when one of them noticed that one of the children was not buckled up properly. The woman decided to stop on the breakdown lane of the A10, just before the Hellersdorf junction, and buckle up the child.
As she got out of the car, she was hit by a passing truck. The woman was trapped between the vehicle and the car.
Witnesses immediately provided first aid. A police officer from Rhineland-Palatinate, who was on his way home, is said to have taken the two children out of the danger area.
The mother was treated by emergency doctors and flown to the accident hospital in Marzahn in a rescue helicopter. There is acute danger to life.
