The 34-year-old woman who was found in a parking lot in Eindhoven on Friday morning did not die as a result of a crime. This is the conclusion of the police after extensive investigation.
The woman’s body was found between the cars on Herodotusplein in Eindhoven around seven in the morning. The police spent all morning investigating the parking lot and a small park nearby. Her sweater was found near a pond. After extensive investigation and conversations with those involved, the police now conclude that she was not killed by a crime.
The parking lot where she was found is at a senior flat. The flat is not accessible to outsiders, but the parking lot is. Residents of the flats previously said they were quite shocked by the find. “I think it’s getting scary here. Last week there was already a bum inside and now this. I don’t like it here in the evening either,” said Greet. Natascha also said that her mother, who lives in the flat, finds it scary in the parking lot: “It is poorly lit here and that is why she prefers not to go out at night. She is quite upset by the discovery of the body”.
