Woman died on Koksijde beach after rescuers took them out of the water unconscious

Around three o’clock the rescuers went into the sea to retrieve a drowning person from the water. The woman in her fifties was unconscious. The emergency services were quickly called by the lifeguards, who themselves started CPR. Then the MUG doctor took over, but that was also to no avail.
