Woman comes into contact with lighting pole in Otegem

The accident happened in a bend near the Lesage en Lietaer company. Due to the speed, the driver could no longer avoid a light pole in front of her. The pole fell on the car as a result of the impact.

The woman escaped with a fright and was able to get out of the wreck on her own. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The area was temporarily closed to traffic, but the damage was quickly cleaned up.
