The 81-year-old woman from Heusden who was involved in the death of a patient (78) in the Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch is no longer in custody. She remains suspicious. The woman is suspected of assault resulting in death.
Police are not making any statements about the medical background of the 81-year-old woman or her whereabouts. The exact cause is still under investigation. This Friday the autopsy will take place on the body of the deceased woman.
‘Scuffle’
The incident took place on Wednesday night at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch. A 78-year-old woman died in one of the wards. This happened after a ‘fight’ with an 81-year-old woman. The victim was lying in her bed when the other patient entered her room. The victim fell to the ground after an argument and died.
The eldest of the two women, who comes from the municipality of Heusden, was arrested after the incident. As far as we know, the police had not yet been able to speak to the 81-year-old woman. She is also under medical supervision due to her health situation.
