Woman (31) stabbed in Spandau – alleged perpetrator is dead

Dramatic development in the case of the woman from Spandau who was killed by numerous stab wounds: The alleged perpetrator is her former partner. And the man is dead.

Review: The body of the 31-year-old woman was discovered on Saturday in an apartment on Germesheimer Weg in Berlin-Spandau. Killed by countless stab wounds.

Her current partner had been looking for her and finally assumed she was in her former partner’s apartment.

As the BZ learned from security circles, the woman had met her former partner for a discussion in his apartment. The situation escalated, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed her several times.

He then fled to Hesse in the victim’s vehicle. Had an accident and sought shelter on a power pole in Sinn near Herborn, 40 kilometers west of Giessen.

The police there sent special forces. But at around 8.30 p.m. the wanted murderer fell down, attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful.

The police and prosecutors want to make an official statement on Monday.

That had happened

At around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, the police received a mysterious emergency call. According to the caller, there could be a body in an apartment on Germesheimer Weg in the Falkenhagener Feld district.

Officials from an emergency vehicle and a focus patrol gained access to the apartment on the first floor at 6:40 p.m. and made a horrifying discovery: a 31-year-old woman was lying in her blood. All resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, the emergency doctor could only issue the death certificate.

Forensic scientists secured evidence at the crime scene and the surrounding area. The body was transported to the forensic institute, the result of the autopsy is still pending.

The victim’s partner appeared at the apartment building and collapsed in shock. He kept calling out to know the culprit.

As the BZ learned, the crime happened on Friday or Saturday. The victim is said to be a native Croatian.
