Wolverhampton, one of the English Premier League teams, added Brazilian midfielder Joao Gomes to their squad.
In the statement made by the English team, it was stated that a 5.5-year agreement was reached with the 21-year-old football player who plays for Flamengo, and that there is a one-year option in the contract.
According to reports in the British press, Wolverhampton will pay Flamengo £15 million for Gomes.
Wolverhampton have made their sixth signing since November 14, when Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui took over. The UK representative also added Mario Lemina, Pablo Sarabia, Matheus Cunha, Craig Dawson and Daniel Bentley to his staff in this process.
Joao Gomes scored 3 goals in 117 matches with the Flamengo jersey, from which he grew up.
