After last week’s 1-1 draw, the VfL Wolfsburg players want to make it through to the semi-finals. “I’m optimistic because a week ago we didn’t show 100 percent of what we can show. If we do better now and use our potential, I’m very confident that we can beat Arsenal,” said goalscorer Tabea Waßmuth.
The 25-year-old is currently the top scorer in the premier class with nine goals. She has no conclusive explanation for her current goal tally: “Sometimes it just works – and this season it’s going particularly well for me in the Champions League.
